There are some instances in life that occur and bring about change in the lives of many people. These instances create an impact on the human mind, persona and way of thinking.
One such instance was when I witnessed firsthand the ordeals that a person goes through when they are illiterate. Considering that I witnessed the hardships faced by someone, in a " one on one" interaction it led me to thinking how there is infact a need for some opportunities for people.
That some people just end up not making it because there are lack of opportunities and awareness.
A literacy program was my way of bringing about a positive change into the lives of some rural women and the lives of poor women living in urban area slums.
This incentive was brought with the help of a few Non-Governmental organizations that helped to change their lives by bringing them one step closer to education.
