Dear Diary,
I just came to know that our maid has three daughters. All of whom are deprived of education. Such is the plight of women in our country! I feel so sorry for them. It pains me to live m a country where women’s education is considered unnecessary. I wonder whether this mindset will ever change. I can only hope for the best.

Dear Diary,
Today something happened which made me feel pity for all the girls in the society. The maid which works at our home has 4 children. 3 daughters and one son. All the three daughters are forced to be a maid like their mother while her son goes to school and gets whatever he wants. I always feel pity not only for these three girls but for all the girls in our society. I feel that most of them even don't know what are their fundamental rights. There is always an inequality between girls and boys. The number of girls who go to school is very less than that of the number of boys. Mostly girls are forced to do work with her mother cuz everyone thinks that they cannot do anything. They can just be like their mother. The work done by them at home is often said invaluable. But it is true that this work takes both physical and mental capability.
At last, I would like to say that they always have to struggle for fulfilling their dreams like, Kalpana Chawla, Pratibha Patil, etc.
