force of gravity in planet M= 2x of earth
gravitational pull of planet M= 9.8 x 2= 19.6m/s2
the mass does not change.
so,
Mass on planet M= 50Kg

weight= 2x of earth
weight on earth  F=ma = 50 x 9.8= 490N
weight on planet M= 490 x 2 = 980N

Answer:

Since the force of gravity is two times more than that of earth:

-The pull due to its gravity will be twice as much as that of earth= 9.8 x 2= 19.6m/s2.\

-The mass of an object in planet M will still be the same.(the mass does not change.

a)My mass on planet M:

= 50Kg

b)The weight will be:

times two that of earth

weight on earth  F=ma = 50 x 9.8

                                   = 490N

Therefore its weight will be twice= 490 x 2 = 980N

                      980 newtons.

or you could multiply the mass by the acceleration due to gravity on planet M directly.

19.6 x 50  = 980 newtons.
