Dear Diary,
Today I am feeling very sad that I could not help my mother. My mom was ill and told me to do party arrangements for my younger sister’s birthday. She had invited many of her friends. But mom suddenly fell ill and it was difficult for her to do arrangement for party. I had promised her to help. But as I had to submit my group project tomorrow, I had to go to my friend’s house for that project work.
I got so engrossed in that project that I completely forgot about the birthday party. When I came back the party was over. I came to know that my aunt came over to help my mom. Certainly, my mom was disappointed with my behavior but she didn’t scold me. And that hurt me a lot.
I really felt sad that I could not keep my promise. I vowed that from now onward I will not break promise.
