Hey, Harris! How is it going?
In your recent letter, you asked me about the present condition of our city due to flood. Well, all streets are flooded and connections of all sorts have been dismissed. I happened to walk across a Rescue Camp on Tuesday. It was filled with people of affected areas. Many of them were severely wounded and many had lost their family members. No sooner did I reach the camp, a member of NGO rushed towards me and asked me for help. He asked me about my blood group. Luckily, my blood group was the one he was looking for. Then he walked with me in the emergency chamber and asked me to donate my blood for a little girl. I did so. I went out of the camp, I was happy to know that I had helped someone that day. Also, I went there the next day and this time, I was to distribute food packets to the affected people. Two trucks filled with food packets reached the camp in the afternoon. I along with many members of NGO unbundled them and started moving them towards the affected. This is the role I have played for my city in the time of need.
