He should consult an expert cardiologist or medicine specialist. He should complete the prescription prescribed by the doctor.

He should change his life style. If he drinks alcohol, wine, red meat, fried fish, beer then he should limit the amount of them. He should eat more and more healthy diet such as green vegetables, milk, pure water and fruits and so on.

He should sleep properly. He should practice jogging, yoga, pranayama regularly twice in a day. They are really helpful for hypertension.

He should think positive. He should avoid stress.

Answer:

As my neighbouring uncle has been diagnosed with hypertension, I will advice him the following to keep his blood pressure within a normal range .

First of all I will tell him to stop smoking, drinking immediately. I will also tell him to not take tea or coffee whenever he feels like and limit this habit to a cup of tea daily only. Due to his weight, this problem of hypertension can increase hence he should start exercising regularly and eat a healthy diet. He should also focus on decreasing his weight and eat as little salt as possible.
