According to my opinion,
Local varieties are are more beneficial than hybrid but economically it is not beneficial also it gives fewer quality yield and vice versa..

There is a huge controversy still on-going over local and hybrid variety of products. Some says hybrid varieties are more beneficial and useful over local or natural whereas some support local variety.

As far as the economy is concerned, hybrid varieties contain our desired traits and can be produced and created at a faster rate hence increase the economy.
