Dear Diary

This holiday brought me a new hobby of reading fictional stories and books. I am a person who is really very addicted to watching television and using mobile phones. But, Thanks to my parents now I have controlled this addiction of mine on a large scale. When my parents snatched the remote from my hand and gave me books I felt quite annoyed and angry at them. I even didn't talk to them for 2 days, but then I thought of giving those books a try which my parents gave me and then I guess it was one of the best decisions of my life. As soon as I started reading books and cultivated the habit reading them on daily basis, my addiction started to decline now When I read books I rarely even think about watching television because I get so much surrounded by the fictional characters and stories. Reading has also added to my knowledge and now I know many new things which I had never known before.

Thanks to my mom and Dad for helping me to get rid of this addiction and making me become a Book lover. I hope I will find a profession too through reading books and writing stories.

The format of the diary entry is very simple. Just write the date, day, time and start off with the content. Since diary writing is a personal thing, you can use formal or informal language. Finally, enclose with a signature.

Diary entries follow the same loose form. They often include the date, and sometimes include a salutation, such as "Dear Diary." They are often not lengthy-no more than a page.
