Dear Friend,
My sadness knew no bounds when I got to know that you’re ill which is why you could not attend the surprise birthday that my parents had thrown for me. A birthday party is the one day in a year, which is very special and unique to everyone in their lives. Since I couldn’t spend my special day with you, I’m writing this letter to you to tell you all that happened.
My day began with my mother scolding me for sleeping too much. She asked me to bring her groceries from the store. When I came back home, I saw that nobody was at home. I panicked and began to frantically search for a note from my parents when suddenly, my phone rang and Radha called me over to her place, she said that it was an emergency.
When I reached her place, I found out that my parents were there too along with all my friends except you. They all wished me a happy birthday. Her drawing room was decorated by candles, balloons and lights, my favourite song was playing in the background.
We all danced and played fun games with each other, my other friends made me a beautiful handmade album that had all of our photos together.
My mother baked a chocolate cake for me. We all even made cupcakes together. It was such a fun day! I wish you were with all of us, I hope you get well soon!
