Dear Diary!

I bet you will not guess what I am going to tell you today. It is about the winter carnival organized by our school as part of completion of 10 years.  It was a full day event from 9 am to 7 pm for three days and was organized on a grand scale.

The carnival also featured a lot of Christmas celebrations to add to the fun. There was a Santa Claus doling out gifs and sweets to children. I got a lovely detective novel as my gift. One part of the school compound even featured a snow land where we could actually build our own snowman. We also enjoyed aiming snowballs at each other. Oh! what fun it was to aim at one another. There were also various food stalls selling Christmas delicacies like plum cakes and cookies.

Towards the farther end of the playground, there were a lot of interesting games and rides. A lucky draw box was kept for those interested in trying their luck. Various melody songs kept playing in the background. There were many stalls selling books as well. For younger kids, there were a magic show and Grandma Tales sessions while for slightly older kids, the puppet show was a real steal.

Dear Diary,

Today there was a winter carnival at our school.

The carnival is held each year with awesome eagerness and a great deal of fun and frolic. Mouth-watering food, games, energizing prizes and fun time with companions and dear ones made the day remarkable.

Students went by the celebration with their families as it was available to all.

The occasion was totally overseen by Housemistresses and senior students. The eagerness and vigor with which they arranged for the day uncovered their profound relationship with the house system.

It was a fun day and I had a great fun at school.
