Seminar on the need of English at grass-root  level

With the initiative of all the class ten students and the English teachers, our school has organised a seminar on 02nd April to discuss the importance of learning English from the primary level.

The English teachers of all the schools of Durgapur have been invited. The Dean of English, AB University, has been chosen as the Chair Person. The Head of Department, English, Government College is the Guest of Honour. The Key note Speaker is the reputed Award winning writer Amitabh Ghosh.

Class ten students have organised a cultural show in which the junior class students will participate. There will be songs, folk dances and recitation.

The seminar has been organised at the Sri Aurobindo Stadium. The time of the seminar has been scheduled at 9 a.m . The class ten Prefects  will receive all the dignitaries and take them to the Venue.

Our respected Principal will be rendering the Inaugural Speech. Our English Teachers will speak on the importance of learning English from the primary level. This will be followed by a Group Discussion on the issue by the invited dignitaries. After the discussion the speakers will deliver the speeches.

There will be a question hour at the end when the students can pose their questions. The entire school is looking forward to the seminar.
