Van Mahotsav Celebration
School celebrated Van Mahotsav with a massive awareness and educational purpose the entire week, with activities, competitions and presentation by the junior and senior section.
Students of Std. I and II presented poems on nature during the school assembly mesmerizing the audience. They gifted saplings to the school Head Personnel & Admin., Principal and Incharges with a request to plant it and care for it.
Students of III – V exhibited their innovations through quiz, art work, posters and card making which were later displayed on the notice board. Student Council members took a pledge to save and care for the plants in the campus after planting them.
Students of VI to VIII were a step ahead with a scintillating programme in the auditorium. Tagore’s words, Wordsworth’s Solitary Reaper and Nature’s devastation were presented as group song, solo dance and dance drama. ‘Water, forest and earth’ was the backdrop of celebration with children dancing to a melodious Nagpuri tune.
