The World Environment is celebrated on 5th June every year. People from every country celebrate this day. Furthermore, the world environment day is run by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). Since the year 1973. The main purpose of celebrating this day is to spread awareness about the plantation of the trees.
Tree plantation programme.
Yesterday, the students at Marigold school organised a remarkable Tree Plantation programme in the school-adjoining area on the World Environment Day i.e. 5 th June. The purpose of senior students is to select an empty place and the roadsides to plant the saplings in a well-organised manner. The municipality and the gardener helped our school children by supplying the saplings in a large number. To make the tree plantation programme a successful full programme it required a lot of sincerity and seriousness. Participation from all classes was much enthusiastic and students from all the classes enjoyed this very well and they were so excited. Therefore, our each and every attempt was appreciated by everybody. This programme created great enthusiasm among all students, guardians and general public. At the very end of the programme an oath was taken by us at the school premises that we must take much care about the trees and plants and not to cut trees ruthlessly.
