  Greenwoods Global School Honored Four Brave-heart Soldiers

Greenwood Global School, City reverberated with patriotic applause on September 19, 2019 when it honored four brave-heart Paramveer Chakra awardees, Major Sushil Kumar, Naik Shakti Singh, Naik Piyush Mittal, and Lance Naik Arpit Mishra.  

These soldiers had played a pivotal role in Poonch sector in foiling an infiltration bid assisted by Pakistan’s Boarder Action Team on August 5, 2019. These watchful soldiers not only foiled their bid, but also killed the BAT soldiers who were assisting them to infiltrate into the valley and spread unrest.  

Mr. Anurag Kashyap, the DC of the city honored them along with the Mr. S.P. Sinah, the Chairman of the School Managing Committee. The auditorium echoed with patriotic slogans when the soldiers climbed the stairs of the stage to receive the honor. In their address they assured countrymen Indian borders were perfectly secure under their watchful vigilance.
