Assam and Bihar are synonymous with annual floods. Assam is in the grip of yet another flood, with 57 lakh people affected across all 33 districts. More than 69 lakh people have been affected in 16 districts of Bihar due to floods.
Fighting for the attention of a system now grappling with Covid-19, in this dire situation people of Assam and Bihar need your support. Many people have lost their homes to floodwater and taken shelter in temporary sheds and relief centres.
Along with the government, NGOs are providing support to the affected people, feeding people and providing shelter and essentials.
All the funds collected from this fundraiser will be donated to 'Rapid Response' which will be utilizing the funds to help those struck by the floods in Assam and Bihar.
Rapid Response is a registered non-profit organization that provides emergency assistance and long term solutions to victims of disasters with a clear mission to provide immediate, effective and sustainable support for the victims of natural disasters.
