The first & second wave of Covid-19 has caused untold miseries to the business community. On the one hand may establishments & shops are closed due to the lockdown restrictions, on the other hand, the overhead expenses have to be met by the owners. Many workers, fearing even worse times compared to the first lockdown, migrated to their native places at the very onset of the second wave of Covid-19, without waiting for the official announcements by the state governments. Also the partial lockdowns announced by the states was not simultaneous, but in a sort of relay system due to which atleast 4-5 states were closed at a time which also hampered business activities. Movement of people and goods was also heavily affected.
