A news report on Teacher's Day celebration:
Teacher’s day was celebrated in my school on September 5, 2018. The celebration was all set to begin at 8 am in the school ground. The celebrated was lead off with a prayer song followed by an inauguration by our school principal. A student then gave a speech on the life of Dr. Radhakrishnan which made the students as well as the teachers to understand the significance of the teacher’s day.
This was followed by the few cultural programs. Games were conducted for the teachers and the prizes were distributed to the winners. Food was served after the games. After the celebrations, we all dispersed to our classrooms where we sang songs, danced, and played games with the teachers. By the end of the day, after the entire formal program, principal gave away gifts to the staffs as a token of gratitude and love. That was a memorable teacher’s day celebration ever.
