Workshop to teach 'robotics' held at Noida

the Delhi public school, noida organised a two days regional-level CBSE robotics department in its campus here from March 4 to 5.

Budding students from across the State presented robotics models and taught it's working.

CBSE Joint Secretary and Regional Officer Manoj Kumar Srivastava inaugurated the workshop.

“If you are sensitive towards your surrounding and identify the real problems of it, fruitful innovations come up naturally,” Srivastava said and urged students to prepare socially useful models.

In this workshop we have learnt many things related to robotics.

Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering and science that includes mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, information engineering, computer science, and others. Robotics deals with the design, construction, operation, and use of robots, as well as computer systems for their control, sensory feedback, and information processing.

The concept of creating machines that can operate autonomously dates back to classical times, but research into the functionality and potential uses of robots did not grow substantially until the 20th century.

Robotics is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots. This field overlaps with electronics, computer science, artificial intelligence, mechatronics, nanotechnology and bioengineering.

The workshop ended with a prize distribution ceremony.
