Zonal Athletic Competition
The zonal athletic competition was held on 12th May 2020 at the Arunidhi Indoor Stadium. Students from the various schools in our Southern Zone had participated in the different sports categories. Our school team also took part and faired pretty well in the competition. We won first place in the long jump, high jump, sprint 100m, and relay 200m. Along with these, we also secured second place in sprint 400m, relay 400m, kabaddi and basketball.
The students who won first and second positions will qualify for the state athletics which will be held next month. They will also be receiving a certain amount for winning the zonal competition. Our school was overall in second place compared to the other schools.
