An Inter_Zonal Athletics Competition was arranged on the 31st of October, 2021. It was organized jointly by heads of many schools to bring out the athletic abilities of the children. It was held on the GMDC grounds. There were 4 zones North zone, South zone, East zone, West zone. A well arranged event, it did not fail to disappoint. Many sport events such as Long Jump, Races, Javelin Throw, Tug of war, etc were a part of the event. students who won were given medals and certificates. There were refreshments served as well. Parents and other students had come to cheer the participants. The event ended with an impressive parade- 4 groups, each displaying the power of their respective zones. At the end, the chief guest, the Mayor, gave a wonderful speech. He then, finally, announced the winner. The West zone was the 1st runner up. The east zone won the first place. It was truly a wonderful, and an exciting event that one will surely remember forever.
