People across the day will celebrate the sixth International Yoga Day on Sunday. Yoga Day is celebrated across the world to mark the importance of Yoga and how it can help us have a good health. The idea of International Yoga Day was first proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi during his address at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in 2014 had proposed the idea of the International Yoga Day and since then, it has been observed on June 21 every year to mark the importance of Yoga.

"Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well being. Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day," PM Modi had said in his address.

Today there was a yoga day in my school. It was so good, as you know yoga was made in ancient India. My school tried to do it like that, it was just so beautiful I cannot describe it. At the start of school, we studied our subjects. At last, we did yoga,  the sense of oneness was felt through me. I just couldn't believe it. The yoga day started in the last period for at least 35 minutes. Our sports teacher told us how to do yoga. We copied them. After that, my friends copied it, who didn't know any yoga so I did copy sir too. At last, it all finished. We went home.
