2nd July, 2020. On 30th June, 2020, our school organised a lecture on the topic 'One Nation One Reading.' The orator of the occasion was the most prominent writer from Telangana, Anees Jung. Anees jung is a name that does not need introduction, it has become a household name. She is most celebrated for her work 'Unveiling India' that unfolds the story of Muslim women in purdah.
The lecture was conducted within the premises of our school and attended by more than 300 students. She said the 'reading should be an integrate part of one's life.' Books are said to be men's best friend. A student should build a habit of reading a page or two daily, or as per the interest. She shed the light on how reading helped her become a successful writer. The program was successful that came to a halt with the questioning round from students to our guest speaker.
