Dear Diary,
Today was yet another day when I was extremely caught up with school work. I could neither go out and play with my friends nor accompany my parents to my cousins’ house. There was just so much homework to do! I understand that homework is an important part of academics, that cannot possibly be skipped, but physical activity is necessary too, as is leisure time. That is what Principal Sir says! The best scenario would be when we are not overburdened by homework and have time for other things too, like being able to attend the sports practice sessions or the occasional social events or simply relaxing in front of the television. Daddy intends to speak to the teacher about it at the next Parent-Teacher meeting. Maybe she does not even realise it!
