Your younger sister has been chosen by her teacher to participate in an elocution contest
for the first time. Though she has prepared well, she, in her anxiety decides to get her name
struck off. Write a dialogue between you and your sister to show how you would motivate
her and help her to get over her fear of failure.

Conversation between two siblings
Me: Hey! Congratulations. I heard that you have been selected for the elocution contest.
Sister: Thanks, but I am thinking of withdrawing my name.
Me: What? Have you gone mad? It’s an excellent opportunity to showcase your talent.
Sister: I am worried that I may blow off my chance. It’s better not to participate than being humiliated.
Me: I wish I could go for that contest but you were always better in talking than me. I am sure you cannot blow it even if you want. You are so good at that, you can win in your sleep too.
Sister: Thanks for showing confidence on me but I am not sure yet.
Me: Don’t think of the result. It is always just a part of any competition. The main thing is participation with confidence and I know you have that in you.
Sister: May be you are right.
Me: of course I am right; I am your big brother after all. So should I consider as this as your yes?
Sister: Yes, I will participate. Thanks for boosting my confidence.
Me: No need to thank little sister, I am there for you always.
