ok but mark as brainlist and also follow me
If you need to find the equivalent mass of a base, then we will use the following formula: simply divide the molar mass of the base by the number of hydroxyl groups. For example, take calcium hydroxide with the formula Ca(OH)₂. From simple calculations we receive the equivalent, which will be 37g/mol.

Heya!!

★ EQUIVALENT WEIGHT :-
→Equivalent weight of a substance is that weight which react with or displace 1g of H, 8g of oxygen, 35.5g of Cl and 108 g of Ag.
★METHOD TO FIND EQUIVALENT WEIGHT:-
→ H ______>H+ +e-
1.mol _________ 1mol
1g ____________ 1eq
→ O + 2e- _________ > O2-
1mol ____________ 2 mol
16g _______________ 2eq
8g ;_______________1eq
So, eq. wt of oxygen is 8g, because in 1eq. 8g oxygen is present.
→ Cl +e- ________> Cl-
1mol _________ 1mol
35.5 ____________ 1 eq
so, eq wt. of Cl is 35.5
becoz in 1 eq 35.5 g Cl is present
simply, EQUIVALENT WEIGHT = WEIGHT/ NUMBER OF EQUIVALENT.
OR NUMBER OF EQUIVALENT NIKALNA MAINE BTAYA THA......XD
hope it helps!!
