1. a. Jowar is grown in Maharashtra because it requires rainfall about 40 cm annually and it adapts a wide range of soil but grows well in sandy loamy and black regur soil and all these suitable climatic and soil factors are available in Maharashtra.

Therefore it is grown in Maharashtra.

b. Bajra is well adapted to grow in hot and arid regions. It requires less than 50 cm of rainfall.

Rajasthan is a dry and arid region. Therefore these all suitable factors for the growth of bajra is present there.

c. Sugarcane is a tropical plant it grows well in areas having temperature between 20°C to 26°C and an average temperature of 150cm and grows well in alluvial soil. These all factors are available in Uttar pradesh.
