Step-by-step explanation:

y^2+y-30

hey do you want me to solve this my middle term splitting or discriminant ??

Okayy, I am doing this by middle term splitting

y^2+y-30

=> y^2+6y-5y-30=0

y(y+6) -5(y+6)=0

(y-5)(y+6)=0

y=5

y=-6

HOPE IT HELPS:)
