Answer:

1) Pine trees are foind in northern hemisphere. They are found in North America, China, South-East Asia, Russia and Europe.

2) During the process of photosynthesis carbon dioxide is absorbed by the plants and oxygen is released.

3) The leaves and stems of many desert plants have a thick, waxy covering. This waxy substance does not cover the stomata, but it covers most of the leaves, keeping the plants cooler and reducing evaporative loss.

4) Many frogs have the adaptation of webbed feet, which helps them swim. The very thin skin, or webbing, between the frog's toes makes it easier to push.

5) The oxygen and carbon dioxide in the lower layers of the troposphere allow life to exist as organisms can respire and plants can photosynthesise. The atmosphere also helps to keep the Earth warm by trapping solar energy. The atmosphere protects life from too much UV radiation from the Sun.
