Yunus bought a dozen watches for Rs 5400. He sold them at the rate of Rs 1150 a pair. a. Calculate his profit / loss percentage b. How many watches must he sell to make a of Rs 1000?​

Given that ;

CP of dozen watches = Rs. 5,400

SP of paired watches = Rs. 1,150

SP of 6 pairs ( 12 ) = 1,150 × 6

SP of dozen watches = Rs. 6,900

SP > CP

Hence ;

He got Profit

Profit = SP - CP

P = 6,900 - 5,400

P = 1,500

a ) Profit Percentage = Profit / CP × 100

P% = 1,500 / 5,400 × 100

P% = 1,500 / 54

P% = 27.7 %
