Yusuf has 5 square tables, each of side 150cm. He arranges the tables together such that the total perimeter is 1500 cm. How does he arrange the tables?

Below is the way to get total perimeter of 1500 cm with 5 square tables.  

Four tables will form a square and the extra will be adjacent to any of them.

If we number the tables 1, 2,3,4,5 table 1, 2 and 3 will get 2 sides each in the outside forming a perimeter of 150 cm*6= 900 cm

Table 4 will get one side. That is 150 cm as perimeter.  

Table 5 will get 3 sides =150 cm*3=450 cm

So the total perimeter will be= 900 +150+450=1500 cm
