Solution :-

→ (z + 5)/6 - (z + 1)/9 = (z + 3)/4

→ 3(z + 5) - 2(z + 1)/18 = (z + 3)/4

→ 3z + 15 - 2z - 2/18 = z + 3/4

→ z + 13/18 = z + 3/4

→ 4(z + 13) = 18(z + 3)

→ 4z + 52 = 18z + 54

→ 4z - 18z = 54 - 52

→ - 14z = 2

→ z = -2/14

→ z = -1/2

Hence,

  • Required value of z is -1/2
