Given :- Zainab bought 15 red markers at $x for 3 red markers, n yellow markers at $1 each, ( 2x + 1) blue markers at $ 2.50 for 3 blue markers.

To Find :- Find the total cost of the markers she bought. ?

Answer :-

we have,

→ cost of 3 red markers = $x

so,

→ cost of 1 red marker = (x/3)

then,

→ cost of 15 red markers = (x/3) * 15 = $5x .

similarly,

→ cost of 3 blue markers = $2.50

so,

→ cost of 1 blue marker = (2.50/3)

then,

→ cost of (2x + 1) blue markers = (2.50/3) * (2x + 1) = $(5x + 2.50)/3

and,

→ cost of n yellow markers = n * 1 = $n .

therefore,

→ Total cost = 5x + n + (5x + 2.50)/3 = (15x + 3n + 5x + 2.50)/3 = $ (20x + 3n + 2.50)/3 (Ans.)
