3x -  \frac{5x}{4} + 2 =  \frac{x}{3} \\  \frac{12x - 5x + 8}{4} =  \frac{x}{3}  \\ 3(7x + 8) = 4x \\ 21x + 24 = 4x \\ 17x + 24 = 0 \\ 17x =  - 24 \\ x =   \frac{ - 24}{17}
