Any number ending with 0,2,4,6 and 8 is divisible by 2 and hence it is even. But when I say ending with 0 it means in the units place as a single number. So 0 is neither odd nor even but number ending with 0 as the last digit in a 2 digit number is even.

Well, according to the definition, a number which is completely divisible by 2 is said to be an even number , i.e. on dividing a number say ‘a’ by two if we get an integer, then the number ‘a’ is even.
and, 0 / 2 = 0, which is an integer.
So, 0 is an even number.
and, 0 / 2 = 0, which is an integer.
So, 0 is an even number.
