The zeroes of the polynomial is determined when the given point intersects the x axis. The point intersecting the x axis are the zeroes of the polynomial. Ex. If the given polynomial the points touches or intersect the x axis two times then the given polynomial has two zeroes. Similarly the no. Of points intersecting the x axis is the no. Of zeroes of the polynomial.
