Zeros of a f( x) = 6 x ²– 4 x – 2

x = 6 {x}^{2}  - 4x - 2 \\  \\ 3 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 1 \\  \\ 3 {x}^{2}  - 3x + x - 1 \\  \\ 3x(x - 1) + 1(x - 1) \\  \\ 3x + 1 \: andx - 1 \\  \\   x = 1

Answer:

f(x) = 6x²-4x-2

=> 6x²-6x+2x-2... * {6 ×(-2)} = -12*

=> (6x²-6x)+(2x-2).... *-6x+2x = -4x*

=> 6x(x-1)+2(x-1)

=> (6x+2)(x-1)

=> x = -2/6 , x = 1

=> x = -1/3 , x = 1
