By Middle Term splitting :

we need to find two numbers whose sum is 7x and product is 12x².

thse numbers are 4x and 3x whose

• sum = 4x + 3x = 7x
• product = 4x × 3x = 12x²

›› x² + 4x + 3x + 12

›› x(x + 4)+ 3(x + 4)

›› (x + 4)(x + 3)

x + 4 = 0

• x = -4

OR

x + 3 = 0

• x = -3

Roots of Given polynomial are - 4 and - 3
