Explanation:

The reaction which takes place when Zinc is displaced by Aluminium from its Sulphate is a DISPLACEMENT REACTION . A reaction in which a more reactive metal displaces a less reactive metal from its compound is called a Displacement Reaction . Since , Al is more reactive , it displaces Zn to form aluminium sulphate.

ANSWER

The reactivity series is a list of metals arranged in the order of their decreasing activities. aluminium is more reactive than zinc therefore when it reacts with zinc , it do not get displaced by zinc hence no reaction takes place.
