Zinc and aluminium are very high in metal reactivity series ,yet they resist corrosion to a great extent . Why?

This is because they have an high affinity for oxygen and thus react with it readily to form a layer of their respective oxides and do not corrode easily

zinc and aluminum are highly reactive metals so they are taken in reactivity series.
but the oxides of aluminium and zinc are reactive.
when iron is coated with zinc or aluminium which may react with oxygen, water vapour so they form their respective oxides which are non reactive and hence cover iron and does not allow it to corrode.
