Zinc can be obtained from zinc oxide by using \bf{Hydrogen} as a reducing agent.

Here is the chemical equation taking place :-

ZnO + H2 ----> Zn + H2O

rIshavQ: itd require change of state of hydrogen to a lemental form
rIshavQ: reducing group II elements with hydrogen, but rather the temperature required vaporizes the metal.
rIshavQ: Ideal reducing agent will be C or Carbon mono oxide
rIshavQ: Co
rIshavQ: exactly
rIshavQ: also group 2 elements require high temperature
rIshavQ: thatd vaporize the metal

⭐Hey there!!

=> Zinc (Zn) can be obtained by Zno by removing oxygen from it so it is done by reduction.

=) 2 ZnO + C → 2 Zn + CO2

=> carbon (C) can remove oxygen atom from Zno. This meathod called 'Roasting'

so Carbon(C) is correct answer.

rIshavQ: yes this would be easier than Hydrogen well done mate
