zinc liberates hydrogen gas when reacted with dilute hydrochloric acid whereas copper does not?why?

Zn liberate H2 gas when read wid HCl but copper doesn't bcoz Zn occupies before H2 in electrochemical series that's why it have ability....and copper is in least position ie comes after H2 in electrochemical series....

due to zinc is moer tractive than Cu because situated uper side than Cu in the reactivity series (electronic serie) so they remove H gas while Cu not remove H gas
