Answer:

Zinc metal displaces iron from its salt solution because zinc is more reactive than iron.Zinc being more reactive,displaces iron from iron sulphate solution and a solution of zinc sulphate is formed along with iron in solid form.

The reaction between zinc and iron sulphate solution is as follows-

Zn+FeSO4------------>ZnSO4+Fe

Reactivity series:-

K > Na > Ca > Mg > Al > Zn > Fe > Pb > Cu
