By adding copper to it, the solution will turn light green in colour.

\bold{\mathrm{ZnSO}_{4}} forms a colourless solution in water but when copper turning is added, Cu cannot replace the Zn metal from the \bold{\mathrm{ZnSO}_{4}} salt.

This is because Zn is placed above Cu in the metal reactivity series table. Hence we can say that copper is not so strong metal to react with zinc metal and therefore cannot replace from its respective salt.

Hence no reaction will be observe when we add Cu turning to \mathrm{ZnSO}_{4} solution.
