Here,

  • Zn loses two electrons. So the charge is Zn²⁺
  • SO₄ gains two electrons. So the charge is SO₄²⁻

Here,

∴ Equivalent weight = Atomic weight/h_factor

⇒ Equivalent weight = 65/2
