Zn+CuSo4 gives Cu+ZnSo4
Atomic wt. of Zn=75u,Cu=63.5u,S=32u and O=32u.
Show that it verifies the law of conservation of mass.

Law of conservation of mass ..states that. ..During a chemical reaction , mass is neither created nor destroyed ...there fore it means
MASS OF REACTANTS = MASS OF PRODUCTS...

THEREFORE

Zn + CuSO4 =====> Cu + ZnSO4 ...
therefore....
mass of reactants...
75 + 63.5 + 32 + 128 = 298.5 u...

Mass of products ...
63 + 75 + 32 + 128 = 298.5 u...

HENCE VERIFIED THE LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MASS....

solution.

Mass of reactants=

(75+ 63.5 + 32 + 4*32)u

= (170.5+ 128)u

= 298.5 u


Mass of products=

( 63.5+ 75+ 32+ 4*32)u

= (170.5+ 128)u

= 298.5 u

so, here Mass of reactants = Mass of products.

so, it verify law of conservation.
