ZnO + H2 gives Zn +H2O and Zn+H2O gives ZnO + H2. Here both the reactions are true, but are not revercible( coz the arrow is shown as irreversible). So is it revercible, if yes ghan what are the conditions often reaction to be revercible. pls tell
thanks

Answer:
An oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction is a type of chemical reaction that involves a transfer of electrons between two species. In redox reaction the oxidation number of a molecule, atom, or ion changes by gaining or losing an electron. In the reaction ZnO+C⟶Zn+CO
C is oxidized since it has lost electrons and Zn is reduced since it has gained electrons.
