14 {x}^{3}  - 5 {x}^{2}  + 9x - 1 =  \\ 14 {x}^{3}  - 7 {x}^{2}  + 2 {x}^{2}  - x + 10x - 5 + 4 =  \\ 7 {x}^{2} (2x - 1) + x(2x - 1) + 5(2x - 1) + 4 =  \\ (2x - 1)(7 {x}^{2}  + x + 5) + 4.......(i) \\ i.e \:  \:  \:  \: p(x) = diviser \times quotient + remender \\ comparing \: with \: (i)... \\ diviser = 2x - 1 \\ quotient = 7 {x}^{2}  + x + 5 \\ remender = 4 \\ ans.
