Answer:

x = 5/4

Step-by-step explanation:

0.5 * - ( 0.6 - 0.2x ) = 0.2 - 0.3 x

=> 0.5 * ( -0.6 + 0.2x ) = 0.2 - 0.3 x

=> - 0.30 + 0.10 x = 0.2 - 0.3 x

=> - 0.3 + 0.1 x = 0.2 - 0.3 x

( any ways a zero after the decimal point does not have any value )

=> 0.1 x + 0.3 x = 0.2 + 0.3

( we have transferred 0.3 to R. H.S and 0.3 x to L.H.S hence their signs change )

=> 0.4 x = 0.5

=> 4/10 x = 5/10 (so here both the 10 get cancel)

=> 4x = 5

=> x = 5 /4

Hope this helps uh..!!!!!!!!
