Mass of solute = 0.5 g
Mass of solvent = 25 g
∴ Mass of solution = 25 g + 0.5 g = 25.5 g
We know,
Mass by mass % of concentration = (Mass of solute)/(Mass of solution) × 100%
⇒% of concentration = (0.5 g)/(25.5 g) × 100%
= 1/51 × 100% = 1.96%
