0.5 which parts of plant involved in-
A. Translocation of water and mineral
3. Translocation
Explain each point in detail
Answers
Answer:
A. Translocation of water and mineral
ans. During transpiration plants move water from the roots to their leaves in xylem vessels. Glucose made in the leaves through photosynthesis is then moved to all cells in phloem vessels by translocation.
Answer:
3. Translocation
ans. Translocation is the movement of materials from leaves to other tissues throughout the plant. Plants produce carbohydrates (sugars) in their leaves by photosynthesis, but nonphotosynthetic parts of the plant also require carbohydrates and other organic and nonorganic materials. For this reason, nutrients are translocated from sources (regions of excess carbohydrates, primarily mature leaves) to sinks (regions where the carbohydrate is needed). Some important sinks are roots, flowers, fruits, stems, and developing leaves.
oR
ans. The ribosome keeps on moving from one end of mRNA to the other end by the distance of one triplet codon. This is called Translocation.
